  • Eastside of the railroad tracks - Every Wednesday

  • Westside of the railroad tracks - Every Thursday

RECYCLING

Recycling collection is handled in-house by our own Public Works Department.  Cans, plastic and bottles are to be placed in the blue Oaklyn Recycling bucket.  These buckets can be obtained at the Public Works Garage.  Papers are to be bundled or placed in plastic or paper bags.  Recyclables are picked up every other Tuesday, alternating between the east and west side of the railroad tracks.

LEAF COLLECTION

Leaf collection occurs from October through early December and again in early spring.  Each voting district is assigned a different day.  Please make sure no branches or other debris is placed in with the leaves.  Also, remember to make sure cars are off the street on leaf collection day.
