NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS The Annual Ski Trip sponsored by OMAYSC ended with great fun and only one injury. Over 50 students and chaperones attended the event on January 31st. The temperature was cold and the wind was blowing. However, the ski conditions were just fine. Skiing, snowboarding and tubing were available to all. One of the snowboarders did take a fall and, after a trip to the hospital, his broken wrist was confirmed. In honor of Vince Scriboni's many years of service to the Borough of Oaklyn, the entire complex was dedicated in his name. Mayor LaMaina gave a brief speech prior to unveiling the plaque that is displayed on the outside of the building. Music teacher, Mr. Powell, led the chorus and on-lookers in holiday songs, while the local Brownie Troops supplied cookies and hot chocolate.
